More than a gallery
Gallery and sculpture garden La Lanka is located in the rural Frisian pastures nearby the nature reserve “de Deelen”. At a a spot where you can still enjoy birds and the sounds of nature. Our starting points are hospitality and high quality art at reasonable prices. Our goal is to offer our visitors enjoyment in art, art that deserves to be seen, art to have at home or in the garden.

Tea House
The cozy English Tea House features a terrace about halfway the sculpture garden in a romantic rose garden. It is the perfect place to entertain your guests.

Gallery
The gallery is located on the upper floor of a characteristic farm house. Every eight weeks a new exposition is shown, featuring contemporary art, especially paintings, glass, bronze, graphics, ceramics and jewelry.

Sculpture Garden
The Sculpture Garden consists of a 4,000 square meter forest garden and a 6,000 square meter scenery garden which has been integrated into the surrounding environment, the protected Frisian meadows. In this quiet oasis you will find a great variety of sculptures by Dutch and foreign artists. Each sculpture has been carefully placed to form a perfect balance with its surroundings.

Garden of Tranquility
In one corner of the garden a Garden of Tranquility has been created. Here you will find objects that can serve as (an example of) a grave monument. You can also place orders with us for a monument by an artist of your choice.

Parking
We have ample parking. Right next to our sculpture garden is a 5,000 square meter parking lot.

Broad and Attractive
The gallery aims to offer a broad, diversified and always changing stock of art and art objects by Dutch and foreign artists, from newly discovered to established. Our policy is to offer quality art at reasonable prices.

Directions
From A7 (Groningen-Heerenveen), you take the exit Gorredijk/Tijnje, in the direction of Tijnje. Follow the ANWB road signs.

From Leeuwarden, you take the exit Akkrum, in the direction of Oldeboorn. In Oldeboorn you drive in the direction of Gorredijk/Tijnje. Follow the ANWB road signs.
